Creative lighting for a Georgian house in Hampshire
Designing lighting schemes for listed properties often presents challenges. This project had beautiful bones but the planners had imposed restrictions that the lighting should be restricted, in most of the principal rooms.
Our solution was to hide lighting within joinery, and to source decorative lighting that would create a focus for the spaces but also emit light in the correct way for each room.
We sourced a small palette of gorgeous lighting for our client – each piece had a different function and character.
Overbury Interiors were engaged to bring the interior design together and their schemes worked beautifully with the lighting we’d sourced.
The results were featured in March 2021 The English Home and we think the finished house looks absolutely beautiful.
