Heritage & Technology combined

Sometimes it can take many years to see the results of our efforts.

Our Director, Paul Stephenson, set up Clearvision design & build lighting in 1997, and his final project before leaving to join Owl Lighting has recently been completed.

The Willis Building, designed by Norman Foster in 1973,  is the youngest grade I listed building in the UK.

As with most Foster buildings the original involved a series of very high quality and bespoke light fittings, 6,000 of which had to be re-fitted with the latest LED lighting & controls technology to provide a modern ergonomic and very energy efficient work environment.  The whole scheme had to remain true to the spirit of the original as overseen by English Heritage.

The completed project features in this month’s Lux Review

Congratulations to the fabulous project team at Clearvision who worked on the project for so long.
